Over 350,000 Incarcerated Muslims Need Help This Ramadan.

Help Them Go From the Streets to the Prayer Rugs of Mecca.

The Final 10 Nights:

Don’t Miss the Reward of a Lifetime

Right now, over 350,000 incarcerated Muslims across the U.S. are struggling without access to Muslim guidance, community, and the resources they need to uphold their faith. Many have been stripped of their dignity, left without the support to find their way back.

But this Ramadan, you can change that.

For as little as $15, you can provide:

✅ Prison visits to offer guidance and connection

✅ Mail correspondence to remind them they are not forgotten

✅ 1-on-1 mentorship programs to help them rebuild their faith and purpose

Every dollar you give multiplies in reward this blessed month. Give today and restore hope to those who need it most.

Over 350,000 Incarcerated Muslims—Forgotten, but Not Forsaken.

Link Outside goes beyond prison walls.

Ramadan is a time of reflection, unity, and mercy. Yet, for over 350,000 incarcerated Muslims across the U.S., these precious days often pass in stark isolation, with few spiritual resources and little community support. Without proper guidance, their path to redemption feels far away.

But with your help, we can provide the tools they need to maintain their faith, even behind bars.

During this blessed month, a single act of kindness carries multiplied rewards. For as little as $15, you can fund critical prison visits, facilitate mail correspondence, and support our 1-on-1 mentorship programs—each offering a lifeline of hope to those who feel marginalized and forgotten.

"Let’s help them fulfill what I firmly believe is
a fard kifaayah [communal obligation]: educating those multitudes of new Muslims. Link Outside is doing it on behalf of all of us, so our part is to support them financially and with our prayers."

Dr. Sheikh Omar Suleiman

"One of my life-changing experiences came from going to Angola prison. I want to particularly lend a strong endorsement to this organization: Link Outside. These are the types of projects that light my heart."

Mutah "Napolean" Beale

"It’s not about the past but about the ending. It’s
important that all of us play a role. Don’t forget about the incarcerated Muslims. What you guys are doing is amazing."

Link Outside is a Black-led registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Muslim prison outreach organization that has been transforming lives across the United States since 2010. Our program is inspired by the transformation of civil rights leader Malcolm X, a formerly incarcerated Black Muslim who would become one of the most influential Americans in history.

“I want to particularly lend a strong endorsement to this organization: Link Outside. These are the types of projects that light my heart. This is something that I believe very strongly in and insha'Allah (God willing) I hope you'll support this project and continue to support prison outreach efforts.”

Connect Your Life With A Child Who Needs Your Help

Help those living in poverty feel human again by giving them the gift of dignity through supporting aid, shelter, education and mentorship.

Here’s the current reality:

The problem is that the population of Pakistan is rapidly growing which makes it challenging for the government to provide reasonable healthcare services.

The sad reality doesn’t end there.

As a result of such extreme poverty, fathers leave their families and move to the city for work, sending all they have back home to feed their families.

For some, children are left to fend for themselves in order to find food and shelter out of necessity.

Meet Noor. Her story paints the true picture of the reality so many people are living in. We first met Noor when she stepped foot into one of our orphanages. As we cared for her and got to know her, she opened up and shared her story.

She came to us after running away from abuse in her home. She saw her father kill her mother, and ran. We had the privilege of not only providing her with a place to stay, but the professional help she needed through counselors trained in trauma.

And we didn’t stop there. Once she received the help she needed, we were able to get all of her other siblings and keep them all together in the same orphanage.

Since 2012, we’ve helped people just like Noor - over 700,000 of them feel hope again.

Our mission is to equip impoverished communities with the tools they need to escape poverty and become self-sustainable.

We do this by creating sustainable rhythms of aid, education and development so that lives are changed for the good and they’re able to give back to their families and communities.

We do this by:

First easing their tension, through providing meals, shelter, medical aid.
Then we teach them the trades they need to improve their life and provide Oxford level education they need at no extra cost.

In this way, we’re able to hold their hand through the entire process and not let go until they’re ready to succeed in life and feel their worth as human beings again.

We believe that to change communities and fight poverty, sex trafficking and hunger, you have to start with one person which is why we’ve created the Noor Project.

Our Impact

  • 11,000+ Letters of correspondence.

Our team writes to each letter whether it be a request for spiritual material, mentorship, or resources for when they are released.

  • 30K+ Books donated.

We have donated over 30,000 books over the past 10 years. In 2022 and 2023 alone, 17,547 books were donated to facilities

  • 500+ Prison visits in CA alone.

Our team along with volunteers regularly schedule visits to facilities and spend quality with our incarcerated brothers and sisters.

From the Streets of Detroit to the Prayer Rugs of Mecca

Kareem was born and raised in Detroit, surrounded by negative influences that led him down a path of crime and, eventually, to a prison cell. Stripped of his freedom and isolated from society, Kareem reached his lowest point. But in this darkness, he discovered the light of Islam—now made even more meaningful during Ramadan.

Through Link Outside’s prison outreach, Kareem didn’t just learn Qur’anic teachings—he found the guidance to rebuild his life. Today, his journey is a testament to the power of faith, education, and mentorship. His transformation began with a single connection to the outside world. You can be that connection for another brother or sister this Ramadan.

From Thieves to Imams

Jamal’s story, like so many others, begins with a label: a thief, a criminal, a lost cause. But inside the walls of prison, with the support of Link Outside, he embraced Islam and transformed his life. He went from being someone cast aside to becoming a spiritual leader—guiding Jummah prayers and mentoring fellow inmates through the virtues and lessons heightened during Ramadan.

These transformations aren’t rare—they happen every day. Individuals once deemed outcasts are finding redemption, becoming beacons of light for others in their darkest moments. Imagine how much more powerful these changes can be in Ramadan, when every good deed is multiplied.

From Outcasts to Leaders

With your support, incarcerated Muslims are breaking free from the labels society has placed on them. They are becoming spiritual leaders and mentors, not just for themselves but for those around them. Inside prison, they lead Qur’an study circles, offer words of hope, and provide guidance to fellow inmates.

When they are released, they return to society as positive contributors—breaking the cycle of crime and recidivism, and helping their communities heal. Your donation this Ramadan empowers this transformation, turning lives of crime into lives of service.

One of our mantras around here is Surgeries, Not Bandaids, and that is literally what we’re doing through our health clinics.

We don’t give people money.

Our goal is to connect your generosity directly to creating opportunities for people to create a path through education and aid towards sustainable work and a future.

We do this by giving them dignity and value so they can create a strong mindset. Then we give them the opportunity to work and guide them through the entire process of their life so they can impact their communities.

In this way we’re creating a domino effect of change.

We take an entrepreneurial mindset to everything we do, similar to organizations like Charity Water, so that we can strategically impact the most amount of people we can and stretch your donation to its fullest impact.

We put our deep passion and vast experience building systems that last behind every project we create so that thriving communities last well beyond our lifetimes.

"My father worked day and night cleaning people’s cars, yet only managed enough money to provide food and shelter. I was deprived of education until I registered at The Noor Grammar School. My life is full of high aims and hopes now!"

We are currently running carefully crafted programs aimed at strategically raising marginalized families from poverty by providing short term support and equipping them to be self-sufficient.

Within all these program’s our focus and mission remains the same:

  • To identify the root causes of poverty
  • Evaluate the economic and social conditions of the families that approach us for help
  • Enlist families into the Noor Programs for 6-12 months
  • Facilitate the provision of the care of each family, from housing to food, health care and child education
  • Teach the adult family members the skills they need to find well paying jobs in the market

With this process we’re able to improve the lives of entire families and give them hope, all within the context of our Noor Family.

It’s that family that we’re asking you to be a part of as well. That’s where you come in.

Help Support 10,000 Incarcerated Muslims This Ramadan

Islam is one of the fastest-growing and most popular faith-based programs in U.S. prisons (nearly 15%* of inmates are Muslim).

But support for incarcerated Muslims is severely neglected. Many of our "forgotten" brothers and sisters feel as they are not a part of our greater Muslim Ummah, despite learning and implementing their deen, just as any one of us in the free community.

Donate this Ramadan to fund critical prison visits, facilitate mail correspondence, and support our 1-on-1 mentorship programs for Muslim Inmates.

Your contributions fund programs that provide incarcerated Muslims with tools for personal and spiritual growth, including:

  • Islamic Studies Courses – College-level courses in Islamic education allow inmates to earn credit toward a degree, giving them knowledge and a structured path forward.

  • Mail Correspondence – Through letters, our team provides mentorship, guidance, and a reminder that someone cares.

  • Prison Visits – In-person visits foster a sense of community, allowing incarcerated Muslims to feel valued and heard.

  • Transitional Support – We help reintegrate returning citizens with housing, job search, and community connections, reducing the risk of re-offense.

  • One-on-One Mentorship – Personalized guidance helps inmates navigate prison life and prepare for a positive future.
